He has led large-scale operational and strategic teams across the full credit lifecycle. His leadership is grounded in execution and commercial outcomes, having served as Group Executive in charge of Credit, Direct Marketing, and Collections at a major South African bank.

Head: Data & Decision Science
Leon AIA, C.Act, CERA, is a data and decisioning leader with 15+ years of experience in converting analytics into customer value and risk-adjusted P&L outcomes. He has built enterprise data science capability and led work across credit risk and scorecards, CVM and retention, collections, and process optimisation, thoughtfully applying direct, personalised, and social engagement to drive relevant actions. Leon embeds governance and controlled experimentation end-to-end, partnering with business and risk to align insights with commercial decisions and measurable uplift.
Riaan Du Plooy
Head: Optimisation
Riaan MCom, MBA, is a credit risk and optimisation specialist with over 15 years’ experience helping lenders make smarter, data-driven decisions. He has built scorecards, IFRS 9 models, and pricing strategies that reduce risk while driving growth. At ICMS, Riaan works with clients across industries to optimise processes, pricing, and portfolio decisions, leveraging A/B testing, cloud-based platforms, and API integrations to ensure interventions deliver measurable business impact. He combines practical expertise in governance, automation, and monitoring to turn insights into tangible results.
Tracey Palmer
Head: Change Management & Projects
Tracey B.Com (UDW), PLD (HBS), has 25+ years of experience in banking product management, change management, and managing regulatory, credit, and transformation projects across South Africa’s major banks. She has led projects and workstreams for the delivery of decision engine migrations, multiple platform migrations, regulatory change initiatives, and systems implementations in compliance-heavy environments. Tracey brings together business needs, risk and compliance, and IT delivery, while ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements.
